Based in Columbus, Ohio, GoGo Chargers, LLC develops, manufactures and markets a collection of portable power devices for mobile gadgets, such as cell phones, GPS navigators, PDAs and mobile game players. Our strong research staff and development capabilities are key to the creation of user-friendly and creative power products. The development team is headed by company founder Byoung Ou, an expert in ultrasonic welding, key in the manufacture of lithium polymer battery products. He is joined by Jung Kim, Ph.D., a member of the team that developed the lithium polymer battery and its manufacturing process in the mid 1990s. Ou, of Dublin, Ohio, founded and still heads Tech Sonic, Inc. which develops, manufactures and markets ultrasonic metal welding machines with offices in U.S., Korea and China. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in welding engineering from The Ohio State University. Jung Kim, PhD, of Buffalo, NY, holds five patents, was named Inventor of the Year by Niagara Frontier in 1988, and has been included in the list of Who's Who in Science and Engineering since 1996. He earned chemistry and chemical engineering degrees from Korea University, University of Michigan and Wayne State University in Detroit. |
